A team of teenagers played basketball at the Basketball Court in Nettoville.
They called themselves Mod Squad. Later, they transformed into Nettoville Pistons, ruled the hoops in the 70s and 80s and became a household name.
They made Arima proud through their success in the Northern Amateur Basketball League and their continued success in the Eastern Basketball League. What an era!
Actually, that’s Raymond Watkins in the photo above. He was one of the outstanding players.
I am a Nettoville gal! Nettoville Pistons once ruled the roost in T&T Basketball. I was lucky enough to be there for their annual reunion. Where? Nettoville of course.
